TYA Reunion in Israel Nov 12-13, 2009

I have returned from a fantastic trip to Eretz Yisroel.

The TYA Reunion Kumzitz, Thursday evening Nov 12, was better than I could ever have expected! 30 guys from a variety of yeshivos came out to join in an inspirational hour and a half of singing at the Kotel. Many tourists stopped by to take photos, and even chassidim stopped to listen. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each individual who attended the event. It meant a lot.

The Kumzitz was one part of the reunion. I was privileged to watch the TYA flag football team on Friday afternoon, Nov 13 at Kraft Stadium. They were victorious in both of their wins and they were a lot of fun to watch!

After Shabbos, I attended Kraft stadium to watch more football and I met up with even more TYA alumni. It was very exciting to see everyone!
Hopefully, trips like this can become more commonplace!

Sunday Night Shiur November 8, 2009

Over 20 boys came to R' Teichman's shiur Sunday night. Thanks to the Szajowitz family for their generous sponsorship in memory of Yaakov's sister Rachel Shoshana bas Chaim Tzvi.

R' Teichman spoke about overcoming one's instincts.

A special thank you to Mosie and the Knish Shop for the fresh deli roll that went along with the deli subs!

Boys from T.A., Rambam, Neimus HaTorah and Ner turned out to spend there Motzai Shabbos in a productive and supervised environment. Of course there was pizza!

TYFFL WK3 Results

On a beautiful but short Friday, only two games took place.

Allied Funding had a bye this week.

Parisers was forced to forfeit to Knish Shop due to not having enough players available.

In a romp, Recruiting Innovators defeated Sunpride 9-2 (yes Ozzie Marizan through a touchdown pass).

In the long anticipated matchup Wealcatch vs Tov Pizza, Wealcatch pulled it off in OT 7-6 thanks to a diving grab by Chaimowitz which he turned into a touchdown!!
